It is a good machine, I installed dual boot Linux (Mint 17) / Windows. To install the dual boot, the safest is to first reduce the Windows partition sizes under the same Windows. As often with Asus, the F2 key provides access to the BIOS settings. I struggled a bit with UEFI to allow booting from DVD, I had to go to security options.
The only negative, in my view, is the touchpad, which I do not find very convenient.
