One annoying sham, "wrong" parts of the last concert

Live - The 50th Anniversary Tour (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Like many other Beach Boys fans I hoped last year after the great concert in the Warsteiner Hockey Park in MG that this milestone concert of the Beach Boys would hopefully seem completely as CD.
The first frustration came with more than a slimmed-DVD, which is not even included half of the songs of the 50th Anniversary Tour.
The reviews of this DVD were then understandably across the board bad, somehow you felt verschaukelt.
Now that the "complete concert of the 50th Anniversary Tour" was announced, I thought that the record company had mind that the dismembered DVD is not the yellow of the egg and would as a consolation or compensation now bring out the whole concert the last tour.

Unfortunately, a fallacy.

On the double CD are some titles which have so not played the Beach Boys in their last tour and some of the titles, which brazenly you, whoever may stand for other, former Beach Boys concerts (eg "at God Only Knows "with lead vocals by Carl Wilson, who was well known already over 14 years dead in the Tour 2012) This double CD has simply cheating.

Why?

The know for sure only the gods.

Due to the fact that there is enough songs were played on the tour, but we did not need to resort to any filler.

The sound mixing and sound of the CD are not exactly mind-boggling since the last live CD's (double) Brian Wilson Live at the Roxy Theatre, which is more than 10 years old, sound technology at least a notch above.

As already noticed the music magazine Rolling Stone: The Beach Boys have it all wrong, except for the music.

This can only agree and add complementary: Your producer and the record company have also done everything wrong here.

Annoying and very unfortunate, because the unique opportunity was given away, a gem of the Beach Boys, namely your 50th Anniversary Tour to pay enough recognition and respect by only the pieces that were all, or at least played on the last tour of this wonderful concert all Beach Boys fans would be made available in a reasonable sound quality.

For me therefore this bungled piece of work is worth more than 1 star.
