Customer Review

1985 transformed the former spliffer Herwig Mitteregger still on track, before turning to the more straight guitar rock. "More and more" is also the most romantic as poppigste album of the singer and drummer. The song "More and more" was an often heard radio hit and Herwig's actually getting used to vote was at Spliff its unmistakable trademark. But why only hear a hit, if they do, there is a whole album of nothing but real jewels? The atmospheric suspense in "Sink into your lake" (this fretless bass !!!), jazzy pop songs ("from scratch", "Why do not you let go") the more rocking "Should I?", Textual snapshots (" Outside spieln children with broken glass - a true a bottle in flight "/" More and more ") and ballads with their sensitive lyrics absolutely credible, poetic and intense to come over (" My Piano "," Somehow love "or" Best Friend "- the 2nd single from this album) ... The reggae-heavy "millionaire" bugged me strangely at first, but long schmunzel I hop over the text and the music. And if you ask me about my top 5 favorite songs, so since 1985, non-stop "Never alone" case. This text, this building and this amazing instrument thunderstorms that initiates the chorus - It's because yet beautiful?!? If I do not would be sooo much about this record I had not written this review. Line Up: Alex Conti (guitar), Georg Kochbek (Keyboards + Chor), Lutz Fahrenkrog-Petersen (bass), Herwig Mitteregger (vocals + drums).
