Possession of an SLR, but this has to always be the Canon PowerShot SX 230 much better suited. I've actually always there and thus I photograph a lot with her, just as it did with the pre-predecessor, the SX 200, which has now been superseded by the 230 SX. Very similar in comparison, the same number of pixels, but a little more compact, which is not bad. But the picture quality is much better and also the video functionality (very important to me) also has very gained: previously only 720p30, 1080p24 now additionally, also now stereo rather than mono, and zoom while recording, which was not previously. And the quality of the video recordings is similar to a good video camera. Remained the same, the good operating concept with the many manual controls and good automatics. In particular, the combination of both is very convenient. Because the automatics are very reliable and fast and can still customize, setting to fine tune the reception anyway. So you get easily the desired results. A camera, which leaves no wish unfulfilled and inspires me.
