Carabiner: Not too heavy, good quality.
Cords: Come not individual but as a string. Here you have to cut 8 pieces of equal length, which works quite well for now. However, the line quality is not quite as good, that is, the cords fray easily and especially go the node due to the string texture coming back to. That's annoying. Also, I would have liked that the parachute "is laced" ready. The educational learning effect "ahhh, so that is why the strings" can be änderst conveys.
So the string tinkering has actually just stopped.
Parachute cloth: Good quality and nice grip. However, quite heavy. Therefore, the whole screen floats relatively quickly to the ground. This has, of course, my child instantly formula developed: "The higher the drop, the longer it floats."
So high on the roof terrace. And therein lies the danger. Children might try to throw the parachute with a lot of momentum and then also lose your balance.
The manufacturer warns specifically on the package before not to fall somewhere.
Parents should therefore itself to know if your child can understand and implement such warnings and instructions.
Size of the screen:
The size of the screen is a nice size (85 cm !!!). This was also the reason for the purchase.
The parachute does not come with figure. This was stated in the article description also so stated. At the snap hook a willing stuffed animal is quickly attached.
Handling for Children: Because of the many lines and the possible Verwickelungsgrad after landing the screen children can sometimes develop the screen again and the linen clean solve. The problem comes node (the go then often on) one at that.
The guide consists of a text page and a page advertising. The text is suitable for children written, what is good, and makes the assembly of the shield over course.
Conclusion: Actually, I'd want to return the screen.
Reason:
- Quality of strings
- High Verwickelungsgrad
- Rapid rate of fall
- Nodes often dissolve (maybe I also do the wrong node?).
As the cords have been but already divided is a return probably not without values deduction on the purchase price. Because of the low purchase price, we will therefore keep the screen well.
We just tinkering on a solution to throw off the screen of an RC airplane. Let's see if it works.
From 50 meters high, the rate of fall is also another advantage.
