Pur has been with me since my teenage years. The songs, then still dubbed onto cassette, ran up and down. What have I afflicted in, sympathized, the lyrics and melodies went under the skin and into the blood. The melodies were haunting and soulful, the lyrics sang issues that no one else sang and encouraged a lot of food for thought.
The last album I can still highly commendable, is at the heart, then the songs were only lukewarm. This disc I really like it here just fine, melodies and lyrics ok but however to the power of earlier it reaches never ran. A song to the cat on the sofa and the forced rhymes therein I would also hammer out yet ... ;-)
