Update (11/27/2014), please note: this review refers to the previous version DCC 5.1 and was written by me in May 2010. Short term: I have owned the new 14er Minox, my Brief review the comments below. Original Review: Since about 1 year owner of DCC 5.0 I had promised me more clearly from the new model. Externally lot has been done, in particular the display is now significantly easier to read in bright environments. However, regarding image quality at a standstill, if not a step backwards. 1. The new model is wesenlich intolerant of high contrast in the image than its predecessor, which complicates the correct exposure (despite much "playing" with the exposure compensation). 2. If the picture just a bit too dark, there is irreparable artifacts in dark areas - so this was not the case with its predecessor. 3. The only improvement: the camera now also comes with low light (rooms, moderately bright) without flash so reasonably cope when adjusting the white balance "night". => The "upgraders" I am therefore very disappointed and the camera returns. My recommendation: Interssenten currently only about half as expensive DCC should be set 5.0 (as long as it is still available) - see my local review - unless an exclusive use in daylight is sufficient, the flash is currently more expensive than that camera. But only for people with experience, you often have to make adjustments to the camera, therefore unsuitable for automatic user spoiled!
