The Hub is completely made of plastic, but makes a stable impression.
I tested the Hub on both my main computer with USB 3.0 as well as on a laptop. Connected USB 3.0 hard drives and a USB 3.0 stick been recognized without problems. On the host computer USB 3.0 devices run as fast as when they are directly connected. The functionality is indicated by a blue LED. The ports are far enough apart so that multiple USB sticks side by side do not block each other.
Even on a laptop, the Hub can be used, even if it only supports USB 2.0. By backward compatibility also the operation of USB 2.0 devices is not a problem.
Mir is most important is that I have no recognition problems in the various USB devices. Here the HUB is basically flawless and has hard drives, mice, USB sticks without any problems detected. In particular, if the computer has a USB 3.0 port, you have a huge speed advantage in the transmission.
The only thing not so great, is the relatively large power supply, which I would have liked a bit smaller. All in all a very nice, functional hub which blends well with black desktop environments.
