Pointless placed status LED

Property me the charger to replace the unreliable inductive charging station from Samsung (EP-PG900IBEGWW) bought and did not regret the purchase. I use the charger folded upright to charge my Nexus 6. That works just fine. Charge maintenance works also. The use of green and blue LED status tells me with my red / green color weakness too. Red / green status indicators are indistinguishable for me (as for every tenth male Europeans).

However, what amounts to a Gotham String, is the positioning of the LED. If you fold lifted the bracket from the charger to the LED is located centrally at the bottom. So exactly where it is guaranteed obscured by the overlying Phone (s. Photo). Even when using the charging station in the flat, not folded up, you would have the phone put across to the station to still see the LED. I wanted to save by purchasing an elongated device with three coils, however, since it is precisely the Nexus 6, the correct positioning of the coil requires a bit of tact.

When it is dark, you can lenses from the side through the gap of the phone and see a faint colored glow. Can be read faster, however, the state of the telephone, if one short turns on the display.

I'll keep the charging station, because it looks good and works well. The LED should have been, however, leave out either completely or position sense. So it's just ridiculous, embarrassing and a bit annoying
