First I must say that I was not outspoken supporter Nickelback- actually until recently. Although I have heard that one or two heavier songs of Silver Side Up, that's it then also. In my youth I was a metal freak, I am now even - at least I get up really made music with guitars. Mich also long Nickelback- "ballads" were played to death on the radio and are greatly annoyed. (OK doing that now even) The whole has then changed on 30/01/10 abruptly somehow. Nickelback Live. Very very good. Now I understood the slower pieces and hear what they sound like and what they should actually be transported. Perfect show. Out of interest I have this CD then just once ordered so here to hear where Nickelback actually comes from. So, now however to the CD in: At the start it is already going properly. One thing to note, the sound is not produced, it sounds more like something cheap and snotty. (My info to it was also more of a 5k $ Recording). I do not evaluate each title now, but particularly stands out for me the theme song "Curb" herraus. That's pretty much the best of the corner of what I have heard in recent years. The track alone is worth the entire price CD. As written in the title: Real, honest, raw and hard. Brilliant. As was to be read in other reviews already, a mix of Nirvana, Pearl Jam and the current Nickelback. The other titles are only partially related to aktuellerem material. All in all, this CD a very different style than all the later albums by Nickelback. (Although these newer albums despite actually the same sound and still not get bored.) For fans of rock music I can recommend this CD for fans of lansameren Nickelback "Heavy Rotation" songs definitely not, this could irritate these people. So for you!
