"Arbour Zena" from 1976 is a crossover project of Keith Jarrett, the jazz and classical music into a synthesis connects. The strings of the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra supply in the classical soundscape. In improvise Keith Jarrett (piano), Jan Garbarek (saxophones) and Charlie Haden (bass) in a very convincing manner. The result is a beautiful, lyrical, meditative, inviting to dream soundscape. Only towards the end of the 53 minutes, the CD drops slightly (about 4 stars).
