Paf! Feared, he came ... with "Choose Love" Ringo Starr recorded what might be called 'the disc too'! Surrounded producer Mark Hudson and his henchmen, the former still Beatles drummer tried once to gather the ingredients for a pleasant album and musically successful ... But unlike those of "Vertical Man" and of "Ringo Rama", songs from the new album are suffering from many incurable diseases: a declining inspiration, a somewhat sloppy singing and, worse, a clumsy manipulation, bordering the ugliness on certain securities ("Free Drinks" and " The Turnaround "in particular). According to "Choose Love" immense confusion mingled with easy and insipid melodies of these twelve unhappy titles. Anecdotally, some editions of this CD provides in addition a DVD (aside, or B side of a Dual Disc) whose content insignificant can not even boast to offset the weakness of the music. (Go Ringo, currency manufacturer and re-doing us a "Alot of Blues"!)
