I used one of Rode, in which decouples the microphone was on loan already suspended on rubber. Noise as the engine of the autofocus, wobble etc. were practically inaudible. Unfortunately, I did the same thing no longer found, but this one "decoupled" with the red suspension.
Well, "decoupled" is not really, because otherwise as to suggest the red design is not out of rubber, but plastic - and is way too hard. A damping and cushioning effect is hardly achieved here and all the noise of the camera are transmitted via the wonderfully hard plastic suspension to the microphone. If one wanted to save the material here ?!
While the audio recording of the microphone is very clear and loud (from the point better than the built-in camera), but as can be seen in the title of my review, it roars mightily and permanent. This is then finally the co-location for the microphone, because why should I buy an external microphone for ~ 70 Euro, whose too rigid suspension brings no real damping property and I furthermore still has to undergo all the shots a noise filter? That makes probably makes no sense.
Very sad - I Rode actually better used, but as the saying goes? Who buys cheap, buys twice. I advise on the microphone and would invest more money.
PS: The microphone is incidentally not a stereo microphone. Is indeed nowhere so it - I just wanted to have mentioned it.
