"Roomba's intelligent and more highly qualified brother"

Brief history of suffering:
Had me recently ordered a Roomba 780. Both reviews and even the iRobot Customer alleged that this indeed would be able to suck up to a low charge, then recharge, and then continue to suck. Unfortunately, it turned out quite quickly that this was a complete failure information. While Roomba sucks funny going on, and then try to go to recharge, but after that he makes sure not inherently more but wakes up until the next appointment, and starts again. That led to my apartment (121qm) in spite of the lighthouses never completely sucked and the Roomba thus again declined.

After that, I then decided to further inquire about this model of Neato (compared to Vorwerk, the charge did not seem to be worth).

In short: I am absolutely thrilled.

As with most others also to give for each day of the week program a start time. The Neato shall then diligently going on, turns first a little in a circle around the room to "measure", divided everything beautiful in its handy 4x4m pit, and sucks actually reliable to the system from. Compared to the tangled Umhergeirre the Roomba is a perceived difference of roughly 10 years engineering.
The Neato is here capable of the entire apartment (including Stuhlbein Maze) easy to navigate - even without lighthouses.

As soon as the battery tends knows the Neato exactly where he is set off and where his station stands. He makes the suction from, considering the way, and goes directly and without detours home, loads, then come back and carry on. At the same time the battery lasts longer. Little has gone right at 10:00 and going until 11:19 persevered while roughly 100sqm managed (incl. Some carpets). Roomba compared could not even climb most carpets and wanted to go to about 50 minutes and ~ 60sqm back home.

If the Neato started from its docking station (for me, this means as much as I wear it short to the upper floor, put it up onto the stair and press the Start button), then he does not completed its course naturally with the search for the station but simply drives obediently back to the starting point.

Throughout my apartment so far I could Surprisingly, make only 1 point locate not cope with the Neato. Upstairs there is a table does not find its legs are so narrow that the Neato alone out again. Here I have to say that it does not surprise me that he does not find out but more surprised that he found me at all pure. As he was for the first time called for help I wanted to free him, only to find that I myself was not even him out without the whole table to lift off - no idea how he has there ever tunneled pure. Again compared to the Roomba, which lighthouses are anything but invisible - sometimes entirely on that I needed alone 3 towers for the table and it is simply impossible Had this accurate enough to position ONLY delineate the table.

So far, only two things are my negative attention, one of which, however, "normal" and here was even correct in comparison to most other models!

1) The "no-pet" brush is really incredibly noisy in operation. Thank God both lie in and the Pet Combination Brush provides no worse results and is not doing nearly as loudly. Only the cleaning is (worth but still hardly the speech) in the Combi Brush a little annoying.

2) The Neato is "innately" not clear with really deep carpets. For most Saugrobotern it is so that they know that and built directly so that they are climbing on a (relatively small) certain height can not at first so that the carpet is simply avoided automatically. Here it is so that the Neato is a true mountaineer and everywhere coming up (including my flat Shelvings - but thanks to laser-scan the books he lets it alone anyway - phew!). The result, however that he would like "drowned" simply times in the carpet. He drives it, do their very best eats in forward gear again firmly, and is progressing backwards. Unfortunately, the software is here simply not smart enough again to go backwards from the rug, but after a while he calls for help and want to be freed. But now the blockbuster: This problem can be completely solved with 1-2 very slight hand movements! 1. You buy two Moebelgleiter (plastic, not felt!), Stick it directly behind the brush, and already the Neato has enough buoyancy to navigate wonderfully well in deeper carpets (two is because a mostly still too shallow - the glider should will not be stuck next to each other but with each other. Alternatively gehat course also one with a placeholder.). If one now owns a carpet of self is still too low, you should as a 2nd step yet the Squeegee (rubber strip) directly behind the brush to remove (4 small screws out, then simply pull out - can also make easily undo ). This has more than enough with me for all carpets. Although the Squeegee Increases in principle the absorbency, but without him the apartment after desmutted wonderful. After these modifications 1-2 short of Neato the only way I know of robotic vacuum and deep carpets is actually can successfully suck! (Since I as 3 pieces of I, up to 3cm Floor, I am personally of the possibility of more than thrilled)
