Content:
To content of the second part of the Mortal-Intsruments trilogy is not much to say, without betraying things from the first part. So I advise anyone who has not yet read the first part to stop here to read! :)
After Clary and Jace were offset in the first part of Valentine and survived, now matures suspected in the other Demon Hunters that Jace is as Valentines son a spy. The top Machthaberin particular, the Inquisitor, distrusts Jace. Then, when even the second of the "Mortal Instruments" is stolen, the suspicion is confirmed.
The relationship between Clary and Jace is becoming increasingly difficult, since the two have learned that they are siblings.
My Opinion:
In my review of the first part I wrote that I hope to give the following parts even more stars. And the most exciting thing to ever to anticipate: Yes, this will also happen.
The second part is even better, even intoxicating, even funnier and sadder than the first. To me it is missing here almost matching adjectives. ;)
I think this all-round increase is mainly due to the fact that the characters and their respective characteristics, behaviors and quirks are known to the reader. Often enough I had to laugh, because a person's behavior was just so typical of you.
Cassandra Clare manages over a long period of tremendous tension and tension in the reader to maintain. I could book just did not put it down and had to read on.
Overall, the author is a brilliant connection succeeded, the answers some questions from the first part, but especially also stirs up the necessary tension and expectation of the third part, which I'm already almost done incidentally. Luckily this book already was here (Thanks, Karo!), Otherwise I do not know what I would have done.
