The surcharge for the UASP compatibility is reasonable, but I have a few minor problems with the housing ...
(Edit: see comment, appreciation to 4 stars)
- The case is processed unfortunately cheap and matte plastic, which can easily slip times over the table (no rubber feet but hard plastic feet protruding from the housing) scratched very, very light
- Be rubber pad may require the installation of 7mm hard drives stuck in the lid so that the HDD does not rattle in the housing, wants to someday really must be tearing out irreversibly again obstruct a 9mm model, a simple screw or click-system for the spacer would have made more sense
- The 6 small plastic tabs on the lid make any strong impression and are at 7mm HDD / SDD and foam buffer under tremendous pressure as weak links?
- The hard drive needs to be slightly tilted during installation ... that makes me a bad impression because it horrifies me from such actions in which one same time can break the connectors on the HDD / SDD with less skill, and here would be a click system have been handy for the backplane of the housing
(Edit: see comment, the controller board is resiliently mounted and tilts so easy to break with or without demolishing the ports on the HDD / SDD)
Despite these weaknesses, I will keep the housing, because the benefits (Full Size USB, On / Off switch and Support UASP) predominate for me.
Absolutely not to be recommended is the case for people who are planning the built HDD / SSD to change my mind often, the mechanical stress is not to join the unit long.
