I do not know how to explain it, but every time I listen to this album, I get this beautiful voice and this incredibly "warm" sounding tunes not from the head. Just incredible what India.Arie has conjured up here for an album to us. The melodies give me every time an absolutely good feeling, because they emit a incredibly nice and especially warm vibe that every time anew pulls me into its spell and gives me a sense of summer and good humor. Just beautiful. Of course you'll immediately notice that they are not about to see an R & B doll, but a serious artist who not only produced, but also writes her own songs. And therein lies the greatest strength in my opinion India.Arie. The songs contain partially so ingenious lyrics, it just knocks me. Simply wonderful how she manages to interpret stories so awesome that we as listeners (at least it goes like me) get absolute goose bumps, because you can put so in the stories inside. Unfortunately, this is no longer all too often the case. But as long as there are such artists, one need to good soul music to worry.
