Scandinavia rolls currently in things Sleazerock everything flat !!! Germany has in this regard, but still powerful backlog! The Crazy Lixx are there beside Crashdiet and Hardcore Superstar probably one of the currently best-known representatives. One advance: Who is looking for new realms of music, looking better somewhere else. The wheel is not reinvented here; it ensteht here keineneswegs musical revolution and on top of that here is just about every cliche of the '80s glam rock / Hair Metals / Sleazerocks (or whatever you want to call the whole thing) met. These include the typical genre texts, a flood of guitar solos, Mitgröhlrefrains en masse, a lot of backing vocals and of course the attitude. How can an album like "Riot Avenue" but then but earn the highest rating? Well, the guys from Malmö bring their message musically just terrific over! Each song is an absolute earwig. In "Riot Avenue" also there is no common thread; could the plate in Shuffle mode can go through, because every song presented here independence and therefore stands on its own. The production is how the hell out well even in recent publications og genre colleagues. This gives the plate neatly oomph and the necessary freshness. Nevertheless, Crazy Lixx sound itself more after 1987, when most of its competitors! The dual-lead guitar duo "Edd Liam" and "Andy Dawson" lays here but also what before! Since Guns N`Roses vibes in "In The Night" and hear "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" since shimmer Airbourne rhythms in "Downtown" and "Youngblood" and also by total are AC / DC influences hardly out of hand to have ... This mix matters simply a lot of fun! Especially when a "Denny Rexon" the whole thing with his tube but something of refined: the ballad "Only The Dead Know" ... The guy sounds in the first verse 1: 1 as Sebastian Bach! And, moreover, he knows his voice skillfully and not exaggerated or even corny / cheesy use acting! The midtempo stomper "Church Of Rock" (also lyrically the absolute anthem) and the almost of Airbourne stolen (by song name here) "Sweet, Bad and Beautiful" convince at full line! In addition, the title track turns (which offers the best exhibits AOR-influences), similar to Crashdiet`s "Generation Wild", as an absolute genre anthem!
In short: who condemned sleazig; dirty Hard Rock investigated properly Arschtritt, but also melody, is the right place!
