I rate this in the English version (uncut) and only the solo campaign:
It plays two different soldiers with their own stories: On the one hand a US Marine who mitmischt in the Pacific battles against Japan and on the other a Russian soldier, the way from Stalingrad to Berlin fights free.
Detailed contents can be seen from the other recessions here.
The missions are all very well staged and know how to entertain.
But here are a few cons:
- Sometimes react the opponents not to hit, although it clearly had on the grain
- Campaign with 6 hours a little too short. Eight hours would have been great.
- The missions are too monotonous in the long run something. The one or the other story-wells would not have hurt (eg one learns nothing about your character, thus one remains somewhat aloof to himself and his companions / comrades)
Something amusing:
- In the English version all speak English except the Germans and the Japanese. Very funny, the comments and exclamations of German troops ("Soviet troops !!" or "communists !!!"). That was really cool.
Striking ProĊ½s:
- Super Soundtrack
- Enormously good scenery in Berlin (especially at the end - goose bumps)
Conclusion:
It's a solid shooter, I recommend it to everyone in the English (or PEGI) version. For little money you make nothing wrong here. It has become somewhat dusty, but still a good game.
Thermal 4 stars for nostalgics.
