The first album of this magnificent band. Potrait of an American Family is one of the best albums of Mr. Manson. He and his colleagues were still young and inexperienced and that's what makes this album out. On the albums are a lot of songs with crazy musical accompaniment and lyrical texts available which are also known today (eg Lunchbox, Cake and Sodomy or Dope Hat). However, this album is not for '' Manson newcomers '' which I would first recommend the albums of the trilogy to know Manson to his top time. For old hands but this album is a must! However, since the sound of the songs still sound a bit immature, the album gets a little deduction and reached me from 4 ++ star, which rounded up still 5 star results!
