Players must lead as tribal chiefs their subjects to wealth by skilfully manage their cocoa crops in this exotic jungle world and diligently trade. This is achieved by applying a plate with different action possibilities offered by new combinations again and again.

Game preparation:
Each player takes a water carrier figure in his favorite color and receives plus the round village board and the 11 color-matched platelets workers.
The water carrier is on the "-10" - put field of the village board, and depending on the number of players a few workers platelets are still removed from the game.
The working plate sets each (mixed and hidden) in front of him and draws three on hand.

For the pitch preparation comes at the beginning only a "single plantation" n-slide and a "market (value 2)" - tile in the middle of the table in such a way that they (diagonal) touch at a corner (with each other).
The remaining jungle tiles are shuffled and laid ready as deck, from which the top two will be placed face up.

Aim of the game:
Owning the most gold!

How to play:
The game is played over several rounds and in each round, each player puts on one of his workers platelets, leading eventual actions, creates new jungle tiles and fills the display on to a conclusion, retighten workers platelets.

- Insert workers platelets; the active player chooses one of his workers platelets by hand and applies it to the field-display. These should be noted that on the one hand the tiles must always lie side by side and on the other, that workers platelets must always be placed only at Jungle platelets - platelets dito jungle only to workers or between platelets!

The fact that the workers platelets so only at the corners "touch" and the resultant beside them space remains empty, once just a tile would fit between 2 workers platelets immediately occupied this place with a jungle tile from the open display.
Thus, the two species are therefore platelets applied alternately and allow the workers to participate in actions that bring the jungle tiles.

The workers platelets have shown on all sides 0-3 workers and so can, depending on which side of the plate is applied to a jungle platelets, as often the actions are used - to the tile may be rotated before it is applied.

- Insert jungle platelets; whenever there is a space between two workers platelets (see above), is created a jungle tile here! It sometimes happens that two such places want to be occupied.
Both plates are taken from the open jungle platelet display - and this (only) refilled from the deck at the end of the train again - and the active player chooses between what workers tile he wants to put the respective jungle platelets.

- Use actions; once jungle platelets come into play, possibly the adjacent workers are activated! Depending on the mapped number of workers on the side of betroffenden plate, the action for the players will be triggered repeatedly.

All Jungle platelets bring action with options to:

- Plantation: on plantations players get the eponymous fruit namely per worker 1 cocoa (wood) for a simple fruit plantation and per worker 2 cocoa (wood) fruits at a double plantation.
The cocoa is then stored on the player's board, there is room for a maximum of 5 Cocoa (wood) fruits gleichtzeitig.

- Market: the market, the cocoa fruit can be sold. For this purpose they are given by the player board back into the general supply.
Can per worker a fruit be sold and per fruit, the player gets 2-4 gold from the general supply, whichever market ausliegt (value 2, 3, 4).

- Bonanza: Bonanza is available with the value 1 and 2 and a corresponding amount of gold per worker, the player can take then.

- Water: per-fitting workers, the water carrier are moved to the player panel by one field. So he comes hopefully soon from the minus point range and brings out a lot of extra points.

- Sun worship: a total of up to 3 sunstones the player can here take (1 per worker), there is more space not on the player board.
For the delivery of a stone sun the player must cover its own, already been deliberate, workers platelets with another by the hand. This is allowed at the end of the game when there are no more jungle tiles to create and then use the local actions again and / or for example for a different majority at a temple ^^ care.

- Temple: get during the game the Temple once no advantage, but at the end of the game the player who has concerns most workers here 6 Gold, the runner-up 3 gold (see below)!

If the active player performed everything he stopped his train and fills the jungle platelet display may again, by discarding one or two plates from the deck open. It follows the next player clockwise.

Full time:
The game ends at the end of the round, in which all players have designed their last working platelets. It follows the final scoring.
First the temple be judged individually, who owns the majority of workers there, receives 6 Gold, the runner-up 3 gold. In case of a tie, both receive Erstplatzierte 3 Gold and a runner-up might not. A tie for second place results in 0 gold for those involved.
For each Sunstone, a player has Nocht, he receives 1 gold.
Now count up all their gold, and add the value of the Sociable bar.
The player with the highest gold (spot) number wins the game!

Conclusion:
Here is a great match game against expecting much tactics of the players, because apart from the little drawing happiness must and everything can be planned. Nevertheless, quite seen "Cacao" as a family game, as the rules are quite catchy and the gameplay quickly proceeds. But experienced players (and casual) come in our opinion, in equal parts to their cost, it just varies only the competition level :)!

The Carcassonne similarity is no coincidence, then, were in addition to the same effect pitch display, loaned the original Meeples to here to serve as a water carrier :).
Otherwise the game has to do nothing with the other ^^, known Legespiel.

Game mechanics and Lap history are well thought out and balanced, and so there are various ways to reap the most points. This and due to the always variable pitch structure plenty of variety and motivation for replays should be exercised.

Visually, the game is also pretty and the cardboard pieces therefore all have a game suitable value.
A round takes an average of more than one hour (Caution! Extreme danger brooder ^^), but usually rather the specified 45 minutes.

Round can state that the author is a nice game and succeeded "Cacao" should be played by each sample mindestes once, but the purchase is almost a sure-^^.
