I may be biased because I'm a big fan of Devon Allman since his first plate and a few concerts. But his new work you just have to evaluate with 5 stars. I'm not saying it was his best to date, but it continues the tradition of high-quality albums with music for adults. What kind of pressure, what kind of groove. A total outgoing session band from Chicago with the ingenious drummer Tom Hambridge, who also produced the album and responsible for some titles records, support Allman. The guitar work is of course impeccable, most played when eight minutes Instrumental Midnight Lake Michigan. Otherwise, the album features as its predecessor a great blues rock mix of people who know their craft, not grandstanding have needed and the listener just joy.
