Successful update to its predecessor.

The display has returned to full HD, which is perfectly adequate in my opinion. It shines very bright, the colors and the sharpness is very well reproduced. Compared to One M8 but is little difference visually feststellbar.Beide and also as already the One M7 own top displays.

This time HTC built a 20MP camera as main camera and responsibilities set out in my opinion very good (especially in low light) Ultra pixel camera as front camera. In daylight the main camera shoots very nice, sharp and color-neutral pictures, but have a slightly Mushy in low light, if you enter zooms into the picture. The front camera makes as usual in all lighting situations sufficiently good images, especially in low light.

The video mode now also offers the recording in 4K and see the pictures on a corresponding monitor top. Even if one expects the PC down to Full HD, you get a really good video quality. The only thing that is still missing, would be an effective image stabilizer.

Now the battery is about 2800 mAh, so a bit more than its predecessor and had yet to unpack a charge of 85%. After setting up, so Google account, install all possible apps, in all settings Customize menu ... was still a software update that heat problems / battery problems due to the new Snapdragon 810 processor was not properly adapted to the Software to fix.
I was just a normal ,, '' heat on the upper back exercise, but not annoying. After about almost 4 hours had the battery about 30% battery.
However, I must point out that a Lithium-Ion / Polymer battery has reached its full power and endurance after about 9-10 charging cycles and I assume that this battery is still far more powerful as its predecessor.

Android 5.0.2 operating with the HTC Sense interface quite tidy and offers as well as the competitors all the possible features of the modern and fast communication. LTE Cat 6, WLAN ac standard, also is again an infrared sensor, which can be used as a remote control with it.

The Telefonakkustik on landline side and mobile side is always clear, loud and noise free.
The signal strength / quality goes (in my T-mobile) fine. Also the change from S Bahn subway to run smoothly and without interruptions ...

For speakers you have, I think since One M7 say hardly anything .. The sound is awesome and replaces loose the small portable radio and also some external small speakers ... The sound quality internally provided are good headphones, is also top. Bass, treble, bass sound all beautifully balanced and harmonious. If you want better sound, Sony should take with its Xperia Z3 / Compact Series in inspection)

All in all a successful update which are second to none with excellent feel and quality, Top display, speakers, excellent voice quality and a promising performance and battery endurance.
