The total power may at any voltage be 600W, but the current limiting potentiometer is in me for RepRap / 3D printers used range from 12V to 24V only to about 8.5A (end of pots), the voltage remains at some point on a level dependent (which is normal for a current limiting). I get for example when applying for a RepRap Heatbed instead of targeted only 24V 22.3V 22.3V * 8.5A = what then 189.55W are. If a period of the maximum voltage of 60V, then that would be, however, still not 600W but 60V * 8.5A = 510W, which would however already pretty neat for such a small part.
The melting fuse is eventually become glowing and gone through what I did not expect at a current limitation. So that is either wrongly dimensioned, or the current limit is set higher than expected.
