So I went critical approach to the matter, then tried to play but a try. I had only empathize and took some time to get used to the control system, but after a few hours, it is then already totally intuitive and internalized for me. On the buttons do I get good, even if it always takes a few milliseconds, until I found the right button; That's why I have often caught the wrong button and have already lost a life because I suddenly fast Y should press - just one button, which is especially far away from the Circle Pad. Register here for lack this orientation that you otherwise, if you're with your thumb anyway at the buttons. And because buttons are already very small and close together, the gripping is already more an "I'm Feeling Lucky" button -Herumgetaste as a safe-Press. But perhaps I've also just the problem, and maybe I'm getting used to since even still there.
The new, additional shoulder buttons are great, and with the limits set by the Circle Pad fit the 3DS really takes now much like a game pad, which I think is great because I often it was spasmodic hands and even slight bruising to the normal 3DS when I even played a bit. On the shoulder buttons I came there before ran bad. That one now four instead of two shoulder buttons has, I find also very good, and at least to play RE: Revelations is ideally suited. Compared with the normal control, I feel really much more fun!
One last gripe is the fact that one no longer comes close to the stylus. So I needed in some places the touch screen, but could no longer so remove the stylus in arrears and had to somehow find their way with my fingers on the touch screen, which can be quite frustrating at tasks where there just yet approaching something fine already. And I honestly would now not desire to have all the time lying around the stylus anywhere while playing in the event that I need him again sometime. Why not take a recess was left here, is beyond me.
Overall, I'm really surprised and the pad would recommend anyone who is planning to play a game compatible with it.
Again briefly at a glance:
+ The 3DS can be wonderfully in the Circle Pad Pro border and lies safely and securely
+ The combination 3DS + CPP is again very nicely in the hand, is to keep a good grip and nice
+ The holding feeling corresponds quite the one gamepad, albeit a relatively heavy
+ For cowards like me, it's nice that the 3DS can now moor with Wiimote-like wrist strap, so it can not fall down
+ Probably the most important: The control with the second Circle Pad is just great and obsolete-at least at RE: Revelations- again a whole lot of additional fun out of the game
+ The large, easy grip shoulder buttons can handle a thousand times better than the built-in
- It does not come close to the stylus without removing the 3DS from the CPP
- You can not remove the Spielcartidge without removing the 3DS from the CPP
- The gripping of the second Circle Pad on the buttons is probably a matter of practice, I catch most only once a wrong button
- Replacing the battery is a bit more complicated than it needs to be (a screw was really necessary?)
Who can overlook these quirks, gets a solid processed add-on for the 3DS, which for compatible game titles really worth it. Whether the purchase price of 20 euros is appropriate remains to be seen, I think I would not want to spend so much for it. ;)
