Surprisingly playful

I am of the new disc of Jethtro Tull, Ian Anderson ahem, very impressed. Had not thought that he contrives again take such a homogeneous plate. But the already very positive reviews in my Musikzeitung have then but me do, to listen to me the whole first ...... and then to buy.

As Anderson has written everything itself, the panel has also produced, one can imagine that it sounds a lot like JT. Even without the last remaining original member Martin Barre. Whose loss makes Florian Opahle more than offset, especially when things get rockier and with fatter riffs.

Lyrically it's very interesting to see how he describes the journey through time, nearly 10 000 years. Musically anyway. The songs are homogeneous, mostly they come very quickly to the point, but beware: some pieces still contain quite a dose Prog, but not extended to infinite time.

The disc is excellent blended, not too fat, more airy and graceful. What me, especially under my headphones, very much fun. That his Mi (e) tmusiker must be mentioned separately mastered their instruments all excellently well in Anderson not.

In short, I am happy to have bought the CD. You really not stand on my list, but the more I am pleased with my decision.
