Swan Song of sensitive Vollblutgitarreros (RIP)

Tommy Bolin was a real guitar! He really played guitar; she was his instrument, he was one with it!
This record is not perfect! Tommy was a musician who had strong instincts and if he followed them, was not necessarily any hollow compatibility for debate. This disc is a bit bulky. I think it is because when a person has often experienced abysses, deep chasms. Tommy`s life had not been a Sunday stroll and ended tragically, too (the same as that of his great model - Paul Kossoff of Free). Certainly he was a very tortured, sensitive spirit; but was on the other side of this insane talent and the feeling that distinguished him. On this record, we often hear both at the same time. That leaves you somewhat sloppy and wicked sound. In other moments vesponnen and totally cheesy-naive. But who knows life a little better, the encounter the core of this completely unknown masterpiece. For me, this board is indispensable and insane guitar solos are also top. In all of this profound ramblings this CD can also easily as slanted "open-mind" enjoy rock record without all the trappings ... but it had to be said times - otherwise hätt`s namely passed only 4 stars ...
