  Have the kit for my 2011 iMac bought and used. iMac short screwed and expanded the drive. Everything put back together, created a fusion Drive via Terminal and installed Time Machine backup. Now the iMac running again!

  I have a Samsung Evo 500GB installed with the adapter, iMac "late 2009". The SuperDrive is now in the external casing, looks very fit from a Mac-style. The iMac I opened the safe known iFixIt solution, also the small cups ordered for a few euros
