MAGIX Rescue Your Videotapes 7 (DVD-ROM)
For years I use for my photo work successfully a number of programs - among others MAGIX Photostory 2015 Deluxe. Therefore, probably, it was no trouble to digitize my old video tapes for me. Newcomers should perhaps experiment a little longer.
