Netgear WN3000RP-100FRS Universal Repeater Wireless-N 300 1 network port (Personal Computers)
This device is compact compared to a router but it is not small. As it connects directly to a file, the result is rather bulky (see my photo). I think a cable and an adapter would have been preferable. That said, the result is surprising in my case:
