    The small toaster tostet well. The standard (9 * 9 cm) slices of bread fit in quite well and I think 10 * 10 cm as well. If you want to toast American bread (about 13 * 13 cm), then yes - the unit is too small, upper part (about 1 cm) is not toasted.
