    Despite the official specifications of Apple, these memory modules work perfectly on my Macbook Pro 15 "(Late 2008), giving it the missing memory to manage Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks (4th update OS on my Macbook) and wholes other applications. Good stuff!

    I have a white macbook mid 2010 and as for other switching to Mavericks completely blocked my computer ... It was useless and refused to turn ... Now it works again perfectly and the installation was pretty easy ... especially for a novice like me! g

    Well it works impeccable 'in a macbook pro 2008 (while Apple recommends 4GB max for this model). Must therefore rely on the firmware update (info check) by a recent OS (Maverick in my case). Easy to set up at that.
