    I also bought this adapter to screw LED lamps E27 (large) luminaires on E14 (small). It foctionne but not always, sometimes you can contact an arch strips with tweezers so that the current passes. Something comes up preventing the adapter to tighten.

    Instead of replacing my lamps to have E27 socket, I found this adapter that work wonderfully! Certainly they enhance the bulb a few centimeters but for now it does not bother me.
