The 2012 edition is my fourth KIS, it comes on Vista Business 32bit SP2 and an Intel 8300 2.4 GH used. The purpose of using KIS has always met because I had recorded no damage. Malware etc. has been increasingly recognized and repelled. So far so good. What was annoying in the 2011 version, namely the partly high resource allocation with the resulting slowdown of all other applications, has not improved. On the contrary, then, out of the blue, the laptop almost paralyzed. For me as a computer layman not clear why. When configuring KIS I have the parameters chosen so that certain action be performed time-related, ie not during working hours. Another minus point, despite the option selected "energy saving" in battery mode then run but any actions that utilize the processor until it stops and clear the battery quickly. Conclusion: Good protection with annoying side effects, for which there is the point deduction.
