The new Machine Head album "Blood Diamonds & Stones" has two new features: bassist and label has been changed, otherwise everything is the same and that's good! Boss in the ring is of course singer and rhythm guitarist Robb Flynn but the good things in shares credits with all fellow musicians, perhaps one of the reasons is that this as well as the previous discs is incredibly varied. From the brutal thrash metal of the early days you are far away, Machine Head do what Metallica have screwed up! They play metal and still have developed yourself, paying packed an uncanny array of emotions and "horny" riffs in the music. Basically, the ingredients of Machine Head are no different than most bands, but somehow the men have managed always to conjure an exciting mix of the whole. They need some time to some sections ignite the listener and thus the new album does not work is what you can consume way loose. Also Machine Head have become loose in their own world and thus have an interesting slice made from the fans to remember for a long time. The somber, almost SimpleCoversheet here is almost misleading, but a great shirt design. "Blood Stones and Diamonds" has become really good and should cement the reputation of the gang!
