Customer Review

First of all you have to say that who looks for a rap album, which consists only of Party, here is misplaced. This album offers very wise and deep lyrics that make sense what nowadays in Hip Hop to 99% no longer is indeed the case (see MIMS, Rich Boy, Yung Joc, the list is, unfortunately, very, very long). Hi-Tek, who is responsible for the beats, the tracks accompanied with his typical production style and creates the lyrical master Talib Kweli simply outstanding tracks. It remains only to say that he who seeks a wirlich good album and is familiar with hip hop CORRECT, here you can not go wrong if a the name Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek say something.

The tracklist:

01. Experience Dedication - a good intro
02. Move Somethin '- Sinlge, super beat, nice texts
03. Some Kind Of Wonderful - Overall good track
04. The Blast - Other Single, super, unfortunately the shorter version (video version contains another part of Talib Kweli)
05. This Means You - With Mos Def, become good
06. Too Late - very nice
07. Memories Live - Also a little slower, very well done
08. Africa Dream - actually consists of two parts, quite good
09. Down For The Count - With Rah Digga and Xzibit as features, well done (with a speech by a famous athlete)
10. Name Of The Game - Very briefly, overall ok
11. Ghetto Afterlife - Excellent, hard beat (Feature: Kool G Rap) and great lyrics
12. On My Way - also very short, well done
13. Love Language - Simply beautiful
14. Love Speakeasy - Good continuation
15. Soul Rebels - Very good
16 Eterna Lists - Great
17. Big Del From Da Natti - Good beat, but only an interlude
18. Touch You - Excellent, just great
19. Good Mourning - again just great
20. Expansion Outro / For Women - Very long outro track, very good

Total offers "Train Of Thought" by Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & consisting of Hi-Tek) no real waste of quality and convinced with all tracks. The feature list has become well overall.
Although this is a remake of the original 2000 released album, it did not make it here, the video version of "The Blast". Very sad and incomprehensible, because this track is one of the best on the album and is much too short. This is certainly not a party rap, but what real rap lovers.
A nice feature is that the booklet contains all the lyrics.

In conclusion, I can only recommend this album to all those who are tired of that modern rap (almost) always sounds the same. Here Talib Kweli shows his fantastic lyrical talent and Hi-Tek makes superior beats.

As I said, Conscious rap at its best!
