"The Forbidden Island" is to learn in a few minutes, not to be thought heavy and a game usually lasts significantly less than an hour. For these reasons the game is predestined to a small round of players (2-4) to provide relaxed conversation in between. It is not the game for a full evening entertainment. But after several games the game has become then worn basically. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to buy the game, because it's just learned so fast and for some time really is fun. All at a very moderate price. The game material is very colorful, varied and of solid quality, what justifies the price even more. The basic idea of sinking the island time and the threat of drowning, and parallel search of valuable artifacts serves as exciting scenario. The gameplay is based on a combination of maps drawing luck and strategy. The strategy will be discussed together in the group, so although each player represents a character, but their actions are always planned together.
