The more sobering once the result:
It has really changed nothing. Or is it?
The first thing that the album needs: Several Hördurchgänge!
As with The Apostasy already the result has failed nested what the friends of Demigod this time but should be less negative notice: The result is saubrutal. Demigod is therefore almost superfluous.
Bewildering? Right after I Track Two "Shemhamforash" were cut me ingenious and at the same time very catchy riffs in the flesh and Inferno makes its name and almost beats all songs like an insane by. This is true in fact consistently with every song until the end "Lucifer", which no longer sneaking primitive as a long time at Behemoth in the ear canals.
Ear canal two:
The well-known details are revealed, as well also in the front nothing new, is it? What was that devices for a vocal effect? Was that really Nergal? Can the ever live implement so? Have Behemoth Black Metal actually not completely sworn off?
Even here, a lot of details have been disclosed.
The result can be really summed up as:
In view of Apostasy again stepping back on Demigod songs, at least hardness Technically. From there again hardness technically a whole step forward. Instrumental technically another step forward.
In addition, the one or another black metal riff has again crept in, as they have not been heard since the Satanica.
What a negative notice is the only point is that, in principle, really everything has remained the same. Okay, this is purely theoretical matter, but where a song of brand Inner Sanctum is gone?
For that, I can simply repeat to calm:
Behemoth have again become very, very brutal and that's a fact with which I was expecting at the very least. Top, absolute thought, but only a further, albeit absolutely strong, Behemoth plate faster in the Hörgänge goes as Apostasy.
Whoever has the opportunity should get the limited version, the additional DVD offers a good making of the album.
