This masterpiece is clearly in the tradition of the 2008 Nine Inch Nails album "Ghosts I-IV", but it seems to me a total of more coherent, closed and melancholy. Clear that many will be disappointed to have ever heard the album only because of the film without what of NIN, and especially because of "Immigrant Song" buy, this is finally (like most of Mr. Reznor)) a "serious chunks "and met far from the retracted listening habits of a typical example SWR3 listener. No, what you get to hear here are the one hand, sophisticated avant-garde soundscapes, on the other hand minimalist small valuables (see also 3 star Reviewer: "Balan glose Dudelei"). What counts here is the sound, the atmosphere generated, the atmosphere - the panting to typical melodies ear must wait here long. Evaluate individual songs is idle alone due to the abundance, it also does nothing, only picking out individual pieces, one should at least one of the 3 CDs reinziehen to understand the mood of the piece.
Analog to my pre-reviewers: Not for mentally unstable spirits (ghosts ...) or in acute danger of suicide, the overall mood is in accordance with the film and especially TrentReznorlike bleak, heavy and still hovering ..... prima in Dungeon applicable; -)
