The best Disney soundtrack since the 90s

The soundtrack in my opinion justifiably the most memorable Disney Soundtrack for masterpieces such as "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Beauty and the Beast" and all the other great classic Disney films to the beginning of the terrible Pixar era to the 90s who has the reputation of Disney's my opinion more harm than improve it.

Well, the soundtrack itself:
The songs are, as it did a Vorsprecher had announced, not such catchy tunes like the songs the older movies, but I have now but also getting caught me as I've started to notice it to hum the tunes without.
But Alan Menken has really proved again what a great composer he is. The songs are also played in and of itself a little more modern, thus partly eg guitar sounds are used, what really super fit for the film itself and also the songs can act adapted very fresh and the time.
In the song "The Bells of Notre Dame" (1996 I think) would be a guitar been unthinkable. The 90s were marked mostly by Orchestralklänge in the Disney music.

The difference between the English and German version:
Of course it is a matter of taste which version a person like better.
In my opinion, both are really great succeeded, although they often function partly mixed.
For example, I find the voice of Rapunzel in German substantially matching and not so high, the English acts in some places by the height a bit thin and not very bulky, unlike the Germans. The song "I finally see the light" like for example in the German much better than in English. The text in English is translated, but for my taste a little vague.
In English, however, the emotional interpretation of the songs is generally more successful I think.
The voice of Mother Gothel is eg at "Mother Knows Best" much nicer interpreted in English as in German.

To be honest: I do not never been so difficult for me myself to choose between the English or German soundtrack. For most goes pretty fast to me, but here it was really hard.
But perhaps one like the other, or even all the way to me, when he hears the song, so it is quite be other preference.

Conclusion:
The soundtrack to Rapunzel's really beautiful, whether now in English or in German, in both languages, there are here and there something better and worse. When in doubt, I would buy both versions.
Because it really worth it - for the first time since the old masterpieces.
