The EPG can be annoying outwit ...

Only annoying is the EPG function for me!

I can not understand why the machine several times a day (and night) must turn to update 1 Hour?
I buy my program guide indeed for 14 days in advance ...

Because I have the device in the bedroom is very disturbing.
Almost always, when I wake up at night, I hear the instrument and it is (again) EPG on the display.

For me, as a function must be deactivated - it is not (Sony made good).

Of course, the EPG is a fine thing but honestly, what program begins and ends on time already?
In pure EPG programming so you always have the risk that the consignment is not fully recorded.
I have always manually then given a few minutes before and this, so why not the same program completely manually?

I have found a way to disable the EPG.

You have to manually set a nonexistent channel in the Guide to installation and the host channel.
I have the host channel for me to program number. Put 00 (there is no station available).
Since then I have calm before the pesky EPG!

The time balance will remain unaffected, this is done in some other way.
