15 years ago I left the mouse the cat; Since then I have been working with trackballs. The have a permanent place on your desk and can never run a nowhere. Kensington is a very quality-conscious manufacturers who can afford to give 60 month limited warranty. This is my third model of this make. Apart from the usual point and click capabilities it offers four large, program-specific programmable keys and, as a novelty, a large scroll ring in both directions. The handling is very comfortable, the term is "smooth as silk" (except for a slight "retract" scrapes the scroll ring), the settings are customizable in a wide scope to the way you work. Other advantages are an aesthetic nature: the harmonious ergonomic design, high quality materials and subtle colors that make the trackball a jewel for the desktop.
