As Audrey Horne announced on their last tour in spring 2014, to want to board the studio for the next album in a few weeks and then with Wolf in my Heart and Out of the City equal to two strong, new songs gave the best, up expectations , against the background of the classic album Youngblood into almost immeasurable. Now, more than 6 months later is the final result in the form of Pure Heavy ago, with the very title absolutely misleading. PURE HEAVY here is nothing, but pure rock or from me also Pure Classic Rock. After initially somewhat sobering whether the orientation of the new songs prevailed, many of the new tracks have now but milled into the cerebral convolutions, especially of course the two already well-known songs, even though they had a lot more bang live, as now to preserve what unquestionably is located on the right-tame, not to say lame production, which by the way represents the actual shortcoming of Pure Heavy. For songs like Holy Roller or Vulcano Girl rock without end and live sweep anything with certainty on record but, klingts a little something good to good in my opinion - Damn, how could the board only Pure Heavy baptized that caught from the outset false expectations! In effect, Pure Heavy, a Saugeiles album that stands on its own, but just compared to Youngblood going short because here simply more Audrey Horne was to be found, more depth, more hardship, more catchy, more emotions ... But Pure Heavy is good and should go to any classic rock fan page!
