"A form of violence" is Kunzes second album. Unlike the songwriter stick "Analyze This" it is much more rock but still miles from Kunze-90 away. The range of his texts is as always very wide. The very first lines of the opening piece "keep coming back" shows, this man is not a subject too delicate, "I have Hitler saw, he cried Shalom and played Holocaust in Lebanon I saw Stalin, he hates violence and runs a mental hospital.. " Could other rock musicians trust such lines of text, I do not think so. About the whole album is a gloomy atmosphere, even more so than in "Analyze This." Was it because the mendacity German petty bourgeois, so Kunze muses here mostly on society as a whole. "Follow me continue" guides us through those mental hospital. "No response" is slightly apocalyptic breathed just as "Lamb of God" and "The Ultimatum". Herausstechend are furthermore the ballads "nursery rhyme", a grandiose inventory of infant's psyche and the beautifully sad "Rain in Berlin". At that time already hinted what Kunze may accomplish at the piano for things. The album closes with the rocker "at half past two" and like its predecessor, is "a form of violence" not an album for the summer, rather an autumn album, but Kunze should prove even more that he can happily ...
