The Mars .... Tangerine Dream makes mobile ....

Granted - I'm a huge fan of what Tangerine Dream the late 70s and early have left the stack until the mid-80's, especially its soundtrack albums for Michael Mann's "Thief - The loner" with James Caan, "Near Dark - Near Dark: The night has its price "with Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen and" THE PARK IS MINE - The ruler of Central Park "with Tommy Lee Jones ....

With what Tangerine Dream have released in the past few years, I'm not quite so familiar - mostly "stumble" I randomly about ....

"MARS POLARIS" is no exception, a so-called random purchase - and then one of the best !!!!

In my view, according to an interesting and very very audible balancing act between the "classic" TD sound and the next generation Froese:
Rhythmically, spherical melodic, just as you would know and love from TD - but there is more ....

It is not a simple album - some tracks captivate immediately, others develop only after several moments of hearing its true charm ....
And that - I think - makes a good TD album: An album that even after repeated listening still has new things and new perceptions causes ....

If this actually should be the musical accompaniment for a trip to Mars - the first ticket is please and bluntly kindly at me !!!!
