I want to go largely to the design with my review. June Takeuchi (the creators of Lost Planet) has made the game. So it's not surprising that the game is based more on bombastic staging and more on action than on sets gloomy atmosphere. At first everything was fine, but as the first intermediate opponents were to conquer, I often had to take on my head: The enemies are incredibly boring, designed and the process is almost always the same: Shoot the red, soft spot. About you on a light? In Lost Planet is no different! Always shoot at the red butt or on the arms, then on the "core" in the middle. Impudence: Most "Parasitenendgegner" really look like Akrid from Wayne's adventure. Mr. Takeuchi and his colleagues have come up with can be nothing new. 400 people were working on Resi 5 and no one had a good idea for a fun boss fight, let alone for novel design of the enemy ...!
But that's not all: The beloved by all Resi fans Wesker here looks like a cross between Matrix and Neo Dieter Bohlen! The black jacket, the futuristic clothes per se, the sunglasses ... looks pathetic from Copied! Something pushes me to sour. The cutscenes are partly ridiculous in my eyes: Brutal Action and QuickTime events are so horny, but bullet-time? In Resi 5? A Wesker, who escapes Chris' balls spectacular and all in slow motion with the Matrix effect? WTF? Do you understand me, Resi fans?
"At the gameplay and the game scenes was not much shaken," I thought and forgave the previous barren-looking boss. But then ... it was over! The Majini (the parasite people) who later in FIREARMS! I do not mean the crossbow that there were already in the predecessor. No. I'm talking about Bazookas and Kalashnikovs, with which the adversaries are recently armed and shoot at you! So one goes Epic shooter-like cover and shoots back, there's no tomorrow. Oh man ... this is not a Resident Evil more! Although it all fits reasonably into the action of the game and there are technically and playful little flaws. But anyone who knows only Resi 5 and otherwise no other branch of the series should know one thing: it was not earlier.
Please understand me wrong: Resi 5 is a bombastic Terror adventure with stunning art and great story (for fans of the story of the first and fourth part). But I think you hit the baby in the wrong hands! June Takeuchi has heartlessly at Hollywood and at its own games operated (which really are not like Resident Evil!) And the originality and let evaporate the Resi-flair. The encounters mad at !!! I hope that the so-called. "New beginning" will succeed with Part 6. Again towards Resi!
Action, shooter, and sometimes adventure fans will have their bright joy of game. The co-op mode is also managed. Anyone expecting horror and horror, should rather resort to Dead Space.
Peaze out.
