Nicolas Zeimet dune demonstrated mastery of narrative simply exceptional. We could actually sattendre to read such a novel from author dun (US) more experienced.
Because it was there that dazzling description of this remote lAmérique where history is taking place, because the paint is beautiful characters of truth, because general atmosphere of the novel is paradoxically plombante hypnotic.
This is clearly a novel with character, finesse tone and danalyse. This is what makes this story so believable and stuffy.
Only vultures thus plunges us into deep America, around a childs disappearance within dune community where secrets fester numbers past and present.
I was talking to the beginning of a shadow that hovers over the novel. Indeed, this story would have its place in LOEUVRE (old) Stephen King. To this way of making an atmosphere so rightly, for this way of telling the daily lives of the characters and their secrets, so methodically to brush a portrait of these corners of the country lost the uncle Sat.
Everything is there, the heavy weather (literally as figuratively had), the Sheriff's particularly unfriendly area, brutal childhood output, the undeclared war between some actors, the mood so well rendered 80s where the action is located

Oh yes, Zeimet has an incredible talent! It has a capacity to suggest an ability to convey emotions and a real intelligence to stand a dense novel (475 pages thick, white or almost without page).
And what of this writing so expressive, so rich, so glowing, both beautifully descriptive and so emotional. A dune rare quality pen which leaves us astounded, dumbfounded by the fact that this is just one second novel.
Only vulture is a huge success in the genre, the one that really needs to allow the author to make a beautiful place in the sun.
A thriller that mixes with a joy influences and genres. Admirable!
