The Tele-singer solo career

Francesco Wilking has proven with his band Tele has developed over several albums over the fact that he is one of the best copywriters in Germany. Like no other he manages to forms of ingenious thoughts scraps a coherent whole, he is like a storyteller as the author of wisdom.
Now these textual qualities he transmits to his first solo album. The song material is sometimes for many years, but could not use for tele-title.
It is already in the nature of things that Francesco Wilking solo does not sound just like Tele. He is musically inconspicuous, hardly Synthesizer, many songs are kept acoustically. And so we do not have to do it here with a pop album, but with a bona fide singer-songwriter album. Francesco surprised with country and Bossa elements, brings in influences from blues and folk, yet remains very unobtrusive music, the lyrics are in the foreground.
"The other day at our home / My sister reading a book / My mother makes a barrel on / And asks me: What are you doing / I'm getting old / And then see what comes / Probably nothing" are those lines that quite simply come along and yet leave as much. Basically the album is kept very low, but when Francesco comes out, then the right, as in the song "The Blue Kitchen", in which the disappointment a ruptured relationship in word but also in Francesco's wild interpretation is downright celebrated.

Maybe this album needs more time to enfalten its full effect, as it anyway even need albums by Tele already. The album is simple, therefore acts very small, but in truth it is in its simplicity, a stroke of genius to deliberate concern poetry, gentle humor, profound truths and subtle images. Francesco's distinctive voice lives these songs in great detail.
With all these qualities, the musical accessibility remains a bit on the track. Even when multiple listening one feels barely sing urge little really goes into the ear. But if the artist wants to listen, this is perhaps justified. Because you can on this album one, it certainly has the potential for a special place of honor in any music collection.
