First time I read this author, and inevitably I begin with the last volume of a trilogy. Having said this novel stands on its own, recalls the previous titles are not very many, and ultimately making only explanations to the psychology of trauma -visiblement strong characters. Writing is alert and keeps the reader, the plot is quite well done. The author plays with this very common fear what arachnophobia, and managed to install a climate of unease and even fear. The only negative in my sense is the effect upmanship, false leads, jolts, quite artificial. What at first is quite efficient becomes almost farcical end. But ultimately, this thriller works well, I think the previous volumes take for my next flight.
