This iron is a good surprise. I was, I admit, a bit skeptical when I read that no adjustment was required, iron adapting to various proposed tissues. Well it's true, and it works pretty well, I pressed the heels of cotton, wool and acrylic, plastics and I put a net linen folds and no burned. The Philips packaging is minimal, you will not have to rummage long before unloading the product, the instructions are clear and easy startup. A small tab is provided for testing the hardness of your tap water (this iron will not like too hard water if it is not cut with distilled water) and iron only has a joystick to send more steam if you have a hard to remove crease and eco mode button to return to saving energy. What is nice is the automatic stop when your iron has not been moved after 3 minutes horizontal and 8 minutes on its heel. Cleaning is simple, a bit of a damp cloth after each use. the device is indeed a bit heavy but I got heavier, I suggest you just do not iron a day of great fatigue, because the 2 year warranty of the device does not take over the damage caused by fall. Its fairly long cord wraps and attaches easily around the iron. I agree with another tester to the large amount of water used on ironing but hey nothing is perfect. It offers ironing iron with ease, no need to bother checking the contents on your labels (beware it does not return even when the tissues that should not be ironed!). A good product at a fair price for an iron that range.
